It's a small "I" so it doesn't go in. Do you not know how this works?!

When I'm on here, yes. I blame these damn smartphones. When I text, I just want to hurry the hell up and send the message. Kind of like I do on here.
I miss these days. With the fucking light that lit up the side, and the interchangeable faceplates. Kids these days won't understand a good phone.
Then to go with my Nokia (Metro PCS, was the shit, I had to have this) I felt like Kevin Gates.
Had to keep the sidekick for Instant Messaging and texting so I didn't get caught up.

So I think I isolated the problem on our TV. However, now I can't source a replacement board.
I may have to get a new one...

Personally, I'd opt for a 98754" TV... you know.. compensating stuff...

Yeah, any electronic device made in the last 10 or so years is just disposable.
It wasn't even worth your time opening it up.

^Not even close. It's a super nice TV and totally worth trying to revive for less than $100. If I can push off dropping $2k for another couple years and get OLED I'm going to try.

what kind of TV is it?
Our Samsung has been going strong for 4 years now. Hope it doesn't die.

Panasonic 55" VT30. It was a top of the line plasma in 2011. Almost ever, really, sans the Kuros.

I realized how disposable electronics have become when I impulse bought a TV while shopping for groceries, got it home and realized it was too big to fit where I wanted it, but it was too cheap to return to the store.
So I just gave it to Mitt.
Was a decent Samsung as well, not a cheapo Visio or anything.

Actually Vizio's make some of the best TVs for the buck now... It's not 2010 anymore.
If I were to buy new now it would likely be a Vizio.

No. It's 2016 and they came from junk and are about to return to junk once they get bought out by a Chinese firm.

The name "Vizio" just sounds like junk
I too have heard they make good TVs, but yeah, the name doesn't sound like it.

Because you can get a (enter brand name here) 60" for $500 and the same brand 60" for $2000.
They're not the same TVs. You get what you pay for.
Youre paying for picture quality. No hot spots on the screen. Black is actually black. Colors are more vibrant. Blah blah. Truth be told- often times, if the TV isn't side by side with another, I can't tell a damn difference
OLED TVs are supposed to be the new thing... I'll just wait until they come down in price

I hadn't been inside a flat screen in a really long time. Surprisingly simple really.

Yea you def get what you pay for. I just browse AVS from time to time to see what the videophile guys are raving about... There are usually only a few those guys say to buy.
