Appointment for airbag recall on the Audi tomorrow...
now...do I pay the $179 diagnostic fee to have them tell me exactly what took a shit? Or do I troubleshoot on my own and/or get my Acura brethren to lend a hand and do some side work?!?!
I have it narrowed down to probably the clutch or this weird solenoid

Are you seriously asking if you should pay someone to check out your cuckmobile while you sit in the waiting room and watch them go to work on it?
I think you know the answer. Yes! Plus bring some pineapple juice to sip on while you wait for them to finish. And ask them not to clean up after they're done so you can do it yourself.

I had to change. Don't want to end up with 3 failed long term relationships on my hands!
I just don't have the time I once did.
but you're right. I have 4 cars including J's...there's no rush and why would I waste the money for them to turn around and tell me it'll be $2500 to fix.
Honestly, by giving me a **hard** time...you actually jarred me enough to make me lucid enough to know the right answer.
And for that, I thank you. *tosh voice*

now that I asked it out loud, I am disappointed in myself.
Thanks guys. That's what friends are for!
In other news...I got the garage looking right...all the tools and still all the bikes and kids toys. I'm back in tinkering business...so many little things to address around the house. Feels great to know I have all my shit in one place.

I did but couldn't duplicate it by hand...oddly too, from what I've read you should hear a noise when the AC is OFF and not ON when the pulley bearing is shot.
What I need to see is if the clutch is actually engaging when I turn on the AC.

Pulley bearing will exacerbate itself when engaged
It won't always make a noise when not engaged
Checking if the clutch is engaging is easy..
Check pulley when off.. middle should stay in place
Turn on.. check.. middle should be spinning.

Oof...
I'll check that tonight if I have time. Drove the A3 to work, but no Z for 2 days so I'll S2000 tonight.
I'll troubleshoot the Audi at work to at least see the clutch.
Thanks, Matt.
If it's oil though, I would have thought it would be gradual and not an abrupt works doesn't work thing.

lmao, i can't promise him that nothing will come out, especially if he makes any sort of effort.
did you see that ETCG had to take a step back...that the vids and editing were just getting in the way of him living his life?
I think we don't realize how much goes into being a big youtuber with weekly long vids.
