Well, TBH, I was annoyed at not receiving the sticker last year...not because I need a sticker or because I donated for the sticker, but because something was asked of me and I carried out my part and then something promised to me just got brushed off and then made to seem like I'm the ahole for asking.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong. Last year seemed like an epic clusterfuck and I agree with you 100%. "They" said donate and get something then the people should get that something, exactly as you said.

As I understand it, the sticker for holiday drive has been in place for a while and was the only way to get an AZ sticker. But now, this year, "they" aren't doing the sticker and I'm betting that there will be a bunch of twisted panties because of that.

A precedent has been set and people have become accustomed and feel entitled. I've seen this before and it's great fun from a psychological standpoint.
