I dunno how it is down south, but here, just showing up to traffic court to speak with the prosecutor guarantees you a reduction in fine payment, and generally 1 demerit point. Seriously. I think they try to compensate you for coming in, missing work, etc.

I've specifically asked the guy for a reduction and an extension for payment, since I knew I likely wouldn't win the fight. He's like "done." No questions asked

I got 2, yep, 2 tickets in one day. One for running a red light/illegal u-turn, the other for speeding in a brand new that day school zone. I went to court to fight both, the u-turn I never was in the intersection to run said red light because I made the u-turn before I got to the intersection...took pictures, had evidence. The school zone I just called bullshit on the CSPD to the judge. He agreed, dropped charges in both cases and bitch slapped the m/c cop that gave me the school zone ticket.

I've had my share of speeding tickets and I always go to court, always have gotten a reduced fine at the very least.

Four guys from the internet police special investigations unit showed up at my house this morning and woke my mom up. They kept asking questions about my e-whereabouts yesterday and if I had an iPad with DNS on it. It really shook my mom up. I kept trying to tell her it was just a prank, probably by the hackers on Craigslist, but she's scared. She's been yelling at me all day and wouldn't even let me have my morning gogurt or and fruit rollups. She's being a real B-word. That's for sure.

So she says I can't have Internet in my room anymore and I need to uninstall acurazine until I shape up.

I hope whoever did this (I don't even know who it is, but I'm scared of finding out) is happy.

All I really know is that they're the local Spyker dealer. They're on the other side of town from me. I have no direct experience with them but I've driven past the dealership a few times.

There are a few places in town like them, they're not necessarily a manufacturer dealer but the specialize in high end car resale. So mostly secondhand luxury cars with the oddball thrown in the mix. Like that TL-S and the Focus ST they have.

I think typically, and in general, they have pretty nice examples on their lot. All except for that one knucklehead guy that crashed the veyron into Galveston bay for insurance fraud. All his cars seem to have some sort of post-salvage history. But I don't think Expo is his company (sorry, blanking on his/company name).

If it passes Carfax and an inspection, it's probably a really nice car.
