I listened for the most part. I was optimistic yet apprehensive.

It didn't feel wrong yet it didn't feel right.

He's just a poor communicator.

And the lien is a bad scene. You cant register (or even actually purchase the car) if it's not paid off in full.

Yea I went over all that with the bank. It'd be a PITA but it can be done.

I have a feeling Miami buyer doesn't know that part.

I find that hard to believe. From the picture you showed of this guy, you'd think communication was a big part of the work he does, regardless of what it is. Seems shady as fuck.

I'm not busting your balls. More cul0's than anything else. I just don't want to see you get fucked.

They are expensive I'm telling you. The way I see it a S2000 that's not junk or modded will cost $18-$22k around here.

Because rare rwd Honda with a limited run and the body never changed so they retain their value well.

Back in 2007/2008, I was looking at s2000s. Figured I'd buy a new one, straight from the dealership, once I finished school. Because that's the responsible thing to do, right?

Ended up sitting in one and wanting to cry, as I learned that I do not fit in the fucker. A blessing in disguise, really. But, optioned out, I think I was looking at around 60k CAN for an s2000. That included the $5000 hard top and all taxes (7% GST), plus other fees, and whatever else.

Jeff how tall are you?

I'm 6'7", lol. If the steering wheel would tilt, I could make it work. Not comfy on the back, but doable.

If you're 6'3" or less, you'll be ok. It'll be tight, but hey, that's what the s2000 is all about. Tiny as fuck with no nonsense.

Chadpinder, there will be other sexy eth5s. Just be patient.

I've been in that position where I'm like "I NEED this fucking car, NOW!!", only to come across a better deal down the road. Shit happens for a reason.

Jeff, the red interior s2000s are very desirable. Don't be put off by the photos. When you're sitting in it, you'll be like "ooooh yeaaaaah"

Lien to lien purchase isn't too bad, especially if the person has an account at the place. I paid for my blue lien to lien, the overage from what he owed could either be applied to an account, or given as a check. Title work was actually easier this way, although obviously the easiest transaction is title in hand (like the black TL transaction...just kidding, gave the guy an IOU on the title and promised I'd send it to him in 2016 ).

Fwiw, I have no idea what my FICO score is right now. I buy so few houses these days because of the recession. :thanksobama:
