Well the silver trim in my Type-S is pretty heavily worn, I was going to wrap it with some matte black carbon fiber wrap. I'm just not sure how much I would need and there are no threads on wrap.

The trim has many awkward angles I don't think you can just measure it and get the perfect amount. I'll just wing it. But painting isn't a good idea since it has patterns and accents in it, it would be hard to cover up those patterns. I think it would look chinsey and probably smell for a while. Plus since it already has a gloss carbon fiber pattern on the intentior I think the matte would offset it well.

Dude... you're supposed to wrap it with some excess material and then trim it. You can't just measure perfectly and apply the perfect pattern over top. Rough size is 34"x2"? cut 37"x4", trim excess, voila.

There's another guy in here, Rockstar143, he painted his- I think he even made a thread for it. If the paint smells, it's still wet. And you can paint it gloss colored also.
