The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Part 2)
Fkn Fk ya mother ef'ers I'm gonna play this song all day lol...I had a knocking noise since I fixed my clutch I replaced the side motor mount bcz it looked bad but didn't solve the problem...my jack had reassessed pressure while it was supposed to be supporting my engine for a few day while I had waited for parts to come in...so I figured it had to be the rear engine mount...tried to remove it once after checking the front mount but it was a pita so I figured I'd just order one & swap it...good thing I didn't...all it was; was a lose front sway bar nut! ...problem solved!!!...

BUT, that building way in the background... it's so familiar? What area is that? I'm guessing somewhere near Stone Oak or 281?

I have a hard time picturing Justin waxing a set of wheels...much less 3 times.
Cute Yum...that's awesome! I was in a 7 once, she never called me back.
Austin had to get them redone...they were bent and needed repair, color change was inevitable. In his defense, I do not recall Justin ever talking about this other set of wheels...maybe I just blocked it from memory figuring he'd never spend that kinda cash.

cuz, my buddy was sitting on them for that time period.
I never got serious about it until this month, when Dennis is understandably letting me "borrow"/"use"
his spare.
I just called my shop.
everything has been approved my insurance adjuster. shop just needs to hurry up.
completion date of Wed.
but, we all know how that goes.
and since the car is still in the shop, i havent given back the tire yet.
Ha...while I will likely spoil Little Cha, he's not getting a freaking BMW as a first car. If anything, a gently used Civic, Sentra, or similar that he can learn the basics of a car in when he gets old enough.
I already have a "car fund" saved up for him but it will be capped at $3K...enough to pay for half. He'll need to find a job that will get him the other 50%.
If he maintains his grades, Dad will pay for his insurance but he's in charge of fuel and other upkeeps.

Yummy.. start him off with a manual trans.. something he needs to pay attention to use.
1) He starts life out right..
2) Difficult to use hand to text, etc..
3) Racecar..
I don't see anything wrong getting him a nice start to life.. and making sure he's safe is numero uno. But anything more just keeps kids from working to obtain such achievements.

If he grows up appreciating what he has, then I doubt he'll be one of those spoiled kids with a superiority complex. I've known both types. I hate the spoiled douches that don't appreciate what their parents gave them. But I've also met the people who do; they're very humble and genuine. Based on you plans with the car (I had the same idea, pay for half), it sounds like you'll end up with the latter.
