Oh shit. Are chicken testes those things nestled on either side of their spinal column? If so, I've been seeking out and eating chicken nuts all these years and never knew

I guess you think the 599 is a bitch whip too.
Statistically.. it's the optimum bitch whip. I'm pretty sure 92% of TL owners are women. 6% are hondafags, 1% ninnymuggins
The other 1%, well.. other.
Pusssayyyy.. I'm going to your work and jack it all over you keyboard. Deal with that.

I like the front of the F12 a lot more than the 599, but the rear of the 599 looks better than the F12's.

well strut and shocks both are called shock absorbers coz thats what they do, absorb shocks....
the difference is that the strut does not connect to steering rack/components....and shock does....
what confuses me is, from sources that I have read, I found that the "strut" replaces the upper control arm....and other sources say the "shock" does not have a coil around it....
so technically we have neither of them

IMO, technically we have both. Shocks in the rear (called shock absorbers by Acura) and struts in the front. But Acura calls those shocks as well.
Edit: Although because the "struts" in the rear don't support the weight they really can all be called shocks. I think...

actually it is technically a strut because it holds up parts of the car, however the real term is called a spring seat shock.
What you are referring to is a McPherson strut. Mechanically, a strut is any structural element used to brace or strengthen a framework by resisting longitudinal compression. A spring seat shock, as in the TL, is technically a strut (but not a McPherson), because without it the car would fall down on its wheels. What you find in an old chevy is only a shock, because you can take it out, and the springs still hold the car up.

Confusing as hell. If Acura calls all four shocks that's good enough for me. Lol
