Nothing I can do. Best thing for me to do is do what I normally do to stay sane. That's what she wants me to do anyway.
I drove down "Da Pad" today on Almonastor. Look it up!
It was lame.... for me, that is!

It's funny because one of my coworkers is a skinny 17 year old kid with long blond hair, smokes weed a lot, loves edibles, he even buys and distributes for his friends. Says he's waiting for rona to end so he can hunt pussy....
He drives a stock gold 2003 Corolla. No mods. LOL!

Not to mention he sings this Sean Kingston song like super off key. Kid doesn't even know Pantera.
He listens to Nickelback, I think...

Mom got the Rona from her son, for sure. He's got them tremors and isn't making sense.

It was generally good. Seemed more or less the same as every other day though. Took the car out for a spin after not firing it up for almost 2 weeks.
My days off from work are a split of playing with Little Cha, reading (working on a Lincoln biography), continuing my hobby (yes, robots), cooking, and watching a show.

Mrs Wagon went out on Saturday to see what the Wastelands had to offer in the way of meat for Easter Meal.
She came back with a 6.5 lb (2948.35 g) prime rib slab. Discounts on discounts on discounts, it started as a $90 ($5329.44 CAD) package but she only paid like $24 ($8028.99 CAD). Split that fucker in half; cooked one last night and save one for later. Had mini potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, shiitakes, bok choy, and napa cabbage to go with it.
Took the meanest meatshit this morning.
But damn... I've been doing this "closed door" cooking method with these ribs; toss it in a 500F (22C) oven for 5 min/lb, turn the heat off and then let it sit for 2 hours without opening the door. Shit cuts like butter after that. So good.

5 ribs, bone in ( ) but separated and tied back together. Basically ready to go into the oven.
I pulled it out if the refrigerator and let it rest at room temp for 2 hours. Preheat to 500F, salt and pepper (and a little ground garlic and sage) on the fat. Then into the oven for 5min/lb at 500F. Immediately turn off and let it go for the 2 hours.
I've done it 3 times now that way and it works beautifully. But I'm always nervous so I stick a digital probe in and watch it.
It wasn't quite room temp when it went in, only about 54F. The outside browned REALLY nice and internal temp was still short of 100 at 20 minutes of heat. But from there it just slowly increases.
At 1 hr 45 min, internal temp was showing 150F so I panicked and pulled it out ( ). Stuck in an analog probe to check and it was about 145F. It ended up sitting longer than I wanted while veg was finishing, maybe 25 minutes, and the temp came down a little under 140F. Cutting into it and it was a nice medium.
