Awww shit, someone mentioned the Sega Saturn
I remember begging my father for a Playstation for Christmas. He got me the Saturn. I was pissed, but played that thing non stop. I played Virtua Cop and Daytona 500 the most. RO-LLING STAAAAAAAAART

I remember the original Play Station!
Sega Saturn was before my gaming interests...I was 2.

Dude it is so crazy to think you were 2 when the saturn came out, I feel soooooooooooo old now. Thanks, I mowed yards for like a whole summer to buy the saturn. And got a Playstation for Christmas. Playstation pwned the saturn, Hence why the ps3 is here and not the saturn 3 lmao. I am ready for the XBOX 720 or whatever is next, I still remember the original Nintendo that I got for Christmas in 1988. It totally owned and I still have it believe it or not!! I have so many games for it and I play it more than my XBOX. I love the old games, so much more challenging than the new games.

I love my Xbox too, but I agree, idk if being younger was it or the fact that games were actually more fun, but older games seem to e better.

Yeah it is, luckily my brother is 10 years older than me so he had the chance to share the older games with me. He still has the old Nintendo's too. I LOVED N64.

That was back in the day when Blockbuster used to rent consoles out. We had quite a few on an, ummm, extended rental

One last post, as it pertains to the consoles.
My console timeline, no particular order.
PS1 - Nintendo - Super Nintendo - N64 - PS2 - Xbox - Xbox 360 - PS3
I also had handhelds, the Sega Game Gear, and pretty much all the Gameboy's until Gameboy Advance.

List of all my consoles:
Intelli, Atari2600, Nintendo, Sega Gen, SNES, Saturn, N64, PS, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, PS3 60gb, PS3 160G slim, 360 Elite 120G, 360S Arcade
not to mention the handhelds:
gameboy, game gear, gb advance, n-gage, ds, psp
All of them were great, but my favs were the original nintendo and xbox. I loved my gameboy too but the game gear was ahead of it's time.

The game gear was ahead of its time. Sega was ahead of its time in the 90's, just to ahead. No one was ready to understand the dreamcast and its online capability at the time, "a console can get online? only computers can do that in 99-00" no knew that online gaming was the future, except Sega at the time.
