Also, is the polarity correct.. I'm sure it is, but even I make dumb mistakes at times.

They worked fine. with .12 and .24 ohm resistors. With .12 they would sometimes go amber white even though they are Type 2's.
I just put the halogen rears back in and no more opposite blinking problem.
The rears were LBBW-7440-T20-3528-42SMD-R is what the label says. Got them from ebay.
Thinking the wattage is too high on them.
At least I can drive at night now. Gonna look for red 7440 halogens for now until I can find a rear led that will work with setup.

Yes, assuming it's just one LED. I don't know the setup but if it's several LED's in a series load, the voltage drop across an LED that is reversed can effect the inline load resistance.

Let me get this straight..
say you turn on your right turn signal:
Rear right LED is fine, no hyperflash
Front left S/B flashes clear
Front right - nothing
and vice-versa

No Majofo I will go slower. Rear Leds work fine no matter what. I have absolutely no hyperflashing.
That is a constant.
What the fronts do:
With rear led's --- when right signal on - right front works normal amber off amber off --- left blinks white white white.
It does exactly the opposite with left signal on.
With rear halogens back in -- still no hyperflashing and rears work fine.
Fronts work as normal - right signal blinks amber off amber off and left side stays constant white. Per design.
Does that make more sense.
I am going to order the 27 led 5050 smd board in red to see if that changes current draw enough to smooth out. Otherwise I will be going back to halogens.

Ahh.. okay, back to the drawing board. Probably line resistance to relay activating front S/B. I don't have S/B's so I'm coming up to speed on the setup, but it sounds fixable.

I'm having a tough time digging up the spec sheet on those rear LED's. While I do that.. what happens when you replace the shunt?

Yeah so far it is fixed with the rear halogens back in.
Don't wanna get pulled over for having too many lights blinking crazy colors up front lol.
And I am going back through the DIY eliminate hyper flashing thread. Then will move on from there.
