If so.. maybe we could work something out for you to come by my work and drive up and down the parking garage so we can see if what im hearing is normal or not on the 6 speed TL.
I have a whine-type noise when turning and accelerating, the noise is gone once the wheel is straightened back out or the car is put in neutral..
Any help is appreciated!

Did the hose recall and first power steering pump, then another pump, then another pump, then this last time, pump, all lines, fluid res., rack & pinion

go to the Off Topic link- top right of all pages here, in the Meets section,
Sacramento just held another one- so there is a good list of members and car models
So you have an ongoing steering noise problem that acura hasnt been able to totally resolve? all warranty ?
If out of warranty- something that worked on the early ford Explorers was a teaspoon of slick 50 in the ps fluid
DISCLAIMER: I have never heard of this being done or personally tested on a TL, just saying something that worked on ps whine in the past

Almost sounds like a pulley misalignment is causing strain on the system or belt with turn and accellerate- and wearing parts out
03s had a misalignment on the pullies that wore out the timing belt tensioner!, nice recall fix for that~
When a part like a ps pump repeatedly fails, I like to know why - seal failure (pressure prob) or center bearing-rod failure (would indicate alignment issue) or overspeed of the bearings (too much enthusiastic rpm useage)
Does it do it if coasting thru the turn, or steady slow speed?
Or its only when on the throttle (how much throttle?) and tight turn on concrete that you hear it most?
whats the surface like, grooved concrete smooth concrete or asphalt or bricks...,
what speed are we looking at?

I hear it while turning in first gear - I park 4 floors up on the parking garage and it's closed in so I hear it - everytime I turn - I hear it, straighten the wheel out - goes away - put the car in neutral - goes away
It appears to only happen in 1st - 2nd gear at low speeds while giving the car gas and turning
The last trip they found metal shavings in the p/s pump resevoir, so they did the ps pump (4th), and for the first time replaced all hoses and rack/pinion. My steering is fantastic now - very tight, there's no whine when revved, and the engine actually 'feels better'; but alas I still have the drone/whine as described above, so now they are going to look into the transmission. I've had both axles replaced already so I don't think its as simple as a drive shaft.
