335 driver must have let off.

Bear, you have to stop posting this stuff. I find it hard enough to stay away from BMW dealerships as it is!

He did not take off watch for the red cone its the finish line.

These are all the slow cars, 165mph or so at the cones. The fast ones like the Nisan GR-R was well over 200mph at the cones.

Not sure been against my policy to make a claim without a dyno or time slip. My last dyno with an older version of the JB4-G4 was 375hp/414tq at the wheels. My car is listed on Drag Times at 12.5/114 with that tune.

I am part of a 3 car 335IS model alpha testing group for tune only JB4G5/ISO using street mixes of E85 into 93 octane premium fuel. The best 1/4 mile in the group was high 11 at 118mph (car in vid). Dynos so far show around 400whp for the group. I think this is about as far as you can go without exhaust etc being added. I expect to get some 1/4's done in May at Rockingham & Fayetteville. Will also try to get a base line for the 135IS in pure stock mode.

The car running the Lambo in the vid is FBO with about IIRC 450whp+. Most all the twin turbo N54's at the airport run are FBO from about 450 to 550whp. Terrys 135i is usually the quickest twin turbo there & has dynode pretty regularly at 530/550whp.

If you go that way a good PPI by a indie BMW specialist is a must to be sure its in good shape. Stay away from the first 1.5 years of production as some upgrades like a standard oil cooler etc were added after that.

It's easy to beat Lambo gallardo with a stock IS350. It's a shame that you have to mod the 335i up da ass to compete.

Told you to get the IS350 you wouldn't listen oh wait you can't afford it.

Well then why don't you go trade your TL in for a 335i? I wanted to try out the 135i but the salesman looked down on me. Oh nice he lost a customer. The sport pkg 370Z salesman was a full of a liar so he lost my business too. So I settled for a nice F-Sport IS350.

I don't recommend BMW's though. It's too unreliable. You will run into HPFP and other electronic issues. I had seen a lady whose 335i windshield wiper wouldn't stop, it kept going off. Hilarious ha ha.

P.s. the 1 series and 3 series interior sucked ass. Smelled and felt like low grade rubber.

Why am I not surprised? His alter ego on the BMW site lives in Hong Kong in his mothers basement.

One of the cars on the 'test drive' list for my GF's new car is a 135i/335i. It's nice that it's so easy to chip and make power, and it's more than fast enough for her. Would love to run a pure E85 blend on it, with stock turbos I see them making 450 whp/500 wtq with bolt-ons and E85 blends! Why has no one done a 100% E85 tune on them as far as I can see?

So far we've test-driven an IS-F, really liked that. Hate the reliability of the 335i (or lack thereof) and will probably only lease one, not buy due to depreciation.

Other cars on the list are Z06, CTS-V (09+), Mustang 5.0, Subaru BRZ...

Unfortunately she doesn't want to look at Evo X's. Or Evo 8/9',s even though she loves em.

Its a fuel delivery issue. The fuel pump system needs to be changed to deliver the increased fuel flow/pressure required when running high alcohol concentrations. Most tunes & stock pumps are good to around a 50/50 mix. The BMS/COBB combined tune & stock pumps will allow a higher mix % but to go all the way to 100% E-85 the pumps have to be swapped out.
