2500k yellow bulb in DRL/ yes or no??

I don't like the dim yellow-ish white look in my daytime running light.

I wanted to install a set of 2500k pure yellow bulb. What do you guys think?

Ok, before everyone start saying "I have yellow DRLs"...

We need Pics, specs of the bulb and is there a warning light on the dashboard?

our Canadian TL are different than US models.
since DRL is only available here, they have their fogs there.
but I am sure if you search enough, you can make it happen.

I had seen yours before...and it looks great on the 06 and older when the DRL's are on all the time with the HID's. I just don't like them with the yellow all by themselves. "Back in the day" the yellow was the bomb...but only as fogs. All by themselves...not so much for me. I mean, they're already yellow so why make them even more yellow?

No, you're right. 07-08 TL's have DRL's beside the HID's...but the DRL's go off after the headlight come on - never both at once. Our fogs are truly fogs and are located at the bottom of the front bumper. So we have three sets of lights: HID's, DRL's, and Fog's.

Yup...'fraid so.

Check out my link on post 4 above. We're trying to get away from it or, at least, make them whiter instead of more yellow.

Here's the dilemma: Take the DRL's out and a dash light comes on. Use any 'ole LED replacement, and the dash light comes on. Take a fuse out and...you get the idea.

So finally, V-LED's has come out with a replacement LED (9005) that will light to near HID color and NOT cause the dash light to come on. It'll set ya back $50 plus shipping, but its worth it to me. I hate those dingy, yellow, half lit lights!

Sorry. Don't see the point in buying an Acura then throwing a Honda symbol on it.

Those look great! Where did you get the bulbs? Do they make any dash lights come on?

Thanks
