Searched through the threads and cant seem to find the answer to these 2 questions, Is the optional 2008 Type S Carbon fiber wheel thicker then the stock stearing wheel or are they the same?

Second, Does the Type S Badge at the bottom of the stock steering wheel come on the optional Carbon Fiber Wheel for a 2008 Type S

no its not thicker, and yes it does come with the type s logo....check on ebay, i have seem them for about 350

 

I'm pretty sure the CF steering wheel isn't specific to the Type-S, hence it doesn't have the logo on it.

 

Anybody Else? I was hoping it was thicker stock seems so thin to me, Thats why I wanted to upgrade, Not sure if almost 450.00 after install is worth it for just a half carbon fiber wheel.

 

I agree...that's alot of money for a section of carbon fiber and probably not a logo. My dealership told me yesterday is did not come with the logo. Plus, it's not thicker either.

 

I got the dealer to throw it in for me...mine does have the type-s logo on it and it is not thicker than the original

 

Wonder how many people actually bought this....

 

^ It's a great looking accessory for the interior...I'm sure if the dealer gave you a great deal on it or threw it in for free that you would take it in a heartbeat.
