Got my '07 last month with 115k mile and belt not done. Immediately dropped 1200 for belt, pump, and rear brakes job. (I was crapping my pants driving it 1 hour after buying thinking *please let me make it to the dealership appointment tomorrrow without destroying the engine, please*)... Driven it about 1,000 miles since. Man it's awesome. Given the $10,000 price difference between a low miles version and mine, I don't think ANY AMOUNT of bad luck will bridge the remaining $8800 gap before it ends up being a bad decision to have gone high miles. I'm happy

it's recomended to do it at 100 000km - 120 000km in Canada due to cold temps and what not. I did it on mine at 146 000km and it looked fine. There are places in US that get just as cold as in Canada and they still do it at 100k miles so don't be too stressed about it.
