Hey guys I have a question I need help with. So I got a 2008 acura tl type s 6 speed transmission. My starter went back in August so I got it changed but when the guy searched up thr serial number on the old starter it was for a 2004 acura tl. So I thought my car was swapped with a 3.2, but it's not I checked the engine stamp and it says J35A8. Does anyone know if either the the transmission is the same for the 3.2 and the 3.5 or is the starter the same. It's time for a clutch swap and I don't know if the transmission is the right one

Clutch kits are the same for both, but the 3.2 and 3.5 have different flywheels. Flywheel replacement along with the clutch is highly recommended because of the way dual-mass flywheels wear. Take that from someone with experience in these matters. LUK from rockauto is the ticket for both parts.
