Hi everyone. I have 2007 TL Type S with Brembo brakes. I live in California and wondering what is the fair price for the front brake job at the dealership. I would need new pads and rotors resurfaced. Thanks for the reply.

No more than $400. Pads will run between $170-$195, and the rest is labor charges.

Thanks. The service advisor initially quoted $580.00 parts and labor. I felt like I was born yesterday when he told me that. Despite the fact that Type S have Brembo pads I thought that was too high. I subsequently spoke with the service manager and he said that he will do the job for $433.00 out the door. I still thought it was too high. I then found the Brembo pads from the Acura dealer with the Buy It Now price of $145 plus tax and had the pads installed, rotors resurfaced at the same dealership at the flat labor charge of $129.95. So I paid $274.95 total plus 3 hours of driving and about 9 gallons of gas. some dealerships will take you for a ride if you are not informed.
