Hi All....I've been a member here for a bit but don't really post much....


I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what 2007 TL trade in is going for? I have a Moracean Red 2007 TL (not type-s). I really want to upgrade to a TL-S. I know the values vary a bit, I've looked them up on KBB, NADA, and Edmunds. I have not talked to any dealers just for the simple fact that I'm more or less just thinking right now. Have not found one locally here in Colorado Springs.

Has anyone else around the forums done this recently and what kind of deal did you work out? This goes for trade or out right (buy w/out trade in).

/dealers always screw you on trade-ins. Should be criminal how they make the offer with a straight face. I was looking at a used BMW and they were offering me "low 20's" in my 07 TL type S with under 15k. Next door they own an acura dealer where they would list, i'm sure, as certified for like 29k.

Dealers only offer auction prices. I ended up selling it for 26k. private party. The ride was killing me - too rough. Jusr bought a used X3

 

Low 20's is right for trade in of an 07 Type-S. The used car market is just through the floor.... because the new car market is also through the floor.


(and lol @ Type-S ride being too rough! It's my luxo cruiser)

When I bought this vehicle in June 07, I shopped around in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada etc. and the dealers in the Denver area were the worst on negotiations. LMAO!! I have driven many a X3 and the ride is much rougher than that of a TL-S!!!
