2007 TL-S...TINT help needed
I just got my TL-S and want to put some tints on it...I know Huper Optik is the best but being that It's $400-$500...I'm thinking there has to be some other "cheaper" brands that are almost as good...the ones I know to be good are madico, lumar, 3M Just wanted to know your opinions on which film I should go with in addition to considering Huper Optik. Also what % tint should I get ?

K-shawn..I sent em an email..they're in NYC...if I'm going there I might as well go to the Art of Tint, where all the celebs bring their lambos, rolls and other exotic cars

I just put 3M tint (20% on the back windows and 35% on the front) for $170.00. I went to a tint shop recommended from the dealer. My first price quote was $200 and they dropped it $30 as a "dealer price" or so they said.
Initially they were going to do regular tint for $130, but I thought it best to go with the 3M. In fact, I need to go out to the garage and use the alcohol wipes on the little 3M logos all over the inside. Supposedly they put that on there so you actually get 3M tint when you buy it. (In other words, no swith-a-roos).

Llumar is one of the best auto tints on the market. I would highly recommend Llumar film if you can find a good installer. A lot of tint places also use Madico, which would be my choice if I couldn't find a Llumar tint installer.
I agree that 35% is about the perfect tint shade. Not to dark and not to light. Give the car a classy look and not gangster.
