I think heeltoe(a vendor on this site) tried to install the dead pedal and it didn't fit. Or maybe it did and someting wouldn't work. I don't remember exactly. You should PM him just to make sure.

I assume your talking about the Type- S tails, right?

Please let us know how the fitment went, exactly what parts may need to be modified (if any), what parts we will need in addition to buying the tails from you, etc.

I wish you (or someone) could write up a D.I.Y. for the install of the tails, but I'm sure your probably too busy running your business, etc.

well if you would look, I posted about doing a test fit and then someone posted AFTER me with the link to the guy who installed them. Which was posted hours after I said what I said.....


plus I asked numerous times about my concerns about them fitting. Nobody said shit.

Hi trancemission, I understand side markers and tails are the current GB items, how about the other "high interest" items, like the key fob and side mirrors? will Tim notify us on this thread about pricing when these 2 items do become available? or should we just make these inquiries to Tim directly...?

I ordered the Tails today. I know they have shipped all ready. I am still waiting for the Side markers to come in. Tim said he hoped to have them in sometime next week.

does everyone who ordered the tail lights know how to install them? i'm not the most handiest person, so i'm nervous about removing parts.

i know that from looking at the instructions, the rear bumper has to be removed. other than that, it is simply pull the led cluster out of the old, affix to the new and re-assemble the TL.
i would do a DIY guide, but in my opinion, aside from taking the bumper off there isn't much to it.

I'm sorry. I'm a little confused. Is there a group buy going on for the TL-S tail lights or are we just ordering them? And if so from who? Price?

 

I have a 07 TL type-s and my kid hit the garage and destroyed the side mirror. I found the part online. (76200-SEP-A11ZC) Does anyone know where I can find the procedure to replace it?
