i'm taking a guess that they are identical

the 04-07 TL uses the same reciever 38385-SEP-A01

That's what I was looking for. Lembowski, get your grinder out... I'm 99.9% this is gonna work just fine.

Now that this is verified, i'd like to see how the ignition works, and how different it is. It might not be but another $100 for a new ignition assembly. The one touch start is propbably controlled throught he ECU, so that's a no-go.

Hopefully you guys have not placed the order yet.

1. Tailights
2. Side markers
3. Key only if the price is right and if it works.

Yes, we did get a 2007 parts catalog but it is woefully incomplete and that is
unusual for Acura. I had to ask prices for individual items for you. Some items
are just becoming available too.

TL type-s emblem $44.75 75722-SEP-A62

Key, immobilizer & transmitter is only $46.20, but it is totally different from
yours. It would require an impractical amount of machining to be made into your
type of key and then I do not know if the transmitter would work. 35111-SEP-306
(main) 35119-SEP-305 (valet)

There is no A-Spec information yet FOR 2007. For 2004 through 2006 all Acuras use the same emblem, which we have in stock. It is ONLY $23.00 08F20-SEP-200A

Type S Tail Light Conversion:
I added up 15 separate part numbers for you and it totals $698.00 for the parts
to do both sides. However, two of the parts are bumper brackets so I guess that
modifying the rear bumper would be necessary.

Tail lamp LED $140.69 33502-SEP-A01 (R) 33552-SEP-A01 (L)
Wire $16.40 33525-SEP-A01 (2)
Lamp unit $146.32 33501-SEP-A21 (R) 33551-SEP-A21 (L)
Gasket $3.35 33507-SEP-A01 (2)
Bulb $4.58 33303-S30-003 (2)
Socket $7.12 33304-S30-003 (2)
Screw $3.60 33508-SEP-A01 (8)
Gasket $3.85 33503-SEP-A01 (4)
Nut 94050-05080 $.18
Grommet $1.08 90650-S5A-003 (2)
Bracket $5.40 71505-SDA-A00 (R)
Bracket $5.40 71555-SDA-A00 (L)
Bolt $.46 90108-S0A-003 (4)

Rear side lamps $87.99 each. 33650-SEP-A11 (R) 33655-SEP-A11 (L)

This is his response to me asking if he could replace my 06 radio with the 07 radio that plays MP3's, etc. My 06 radio's cd player stopped working for some stupid reason. So I asked him if I could pay the difference to upgrade to the 07 radio.
Radio warranty procedures make it impossible to swap or upgrade during a repair. A dealer must install the same unit as the car had, everything is ordered by serial number of the car, audio units are also serial numbered. The warranty
exchange unit is actually a remanufactured unit provided through Acura from the
manufacturer, Alpine, Bose, etc.

Mirrors. 76200-SEP-A11ZC (R), 76250-SEP-A11ZC (L) would be $252.10 each and I do not know who could attempt to redesign the wiring & lights for you.
Any idea how much the TL-S lip is? Or if it's available yet?

Seems like the keys and taillights are near impossible to do.

Can we stick to the simple add ons like the aluminum pedals, shift knob or deck lip spoiler?

They're not impossible, just not worth doing a group buy for. I say lets do something easy like side markers..

I was talking about the side markers and only because its been done already..

everybody needs to sit back and wait until at least one person says he actually installed a part and it fit and worked before you all start buying these items.

maxAmillion - I didn't get any prices for the lips or anything. Sorry.

enigmaos - No they aren't just plug and play. My parts manager says that the bumper or hardware that attaches the lights to the bumper might need to be modified somehow. How easy or hard that is ... who knows. Maybe I'll be the one to try this mod out for everyone.

trancemission - I agree. There should probably just be a group buy for things that have already been done, or else, people are going to get PIST off and need all these refunds for parts that won't work on their cars. And that's even assuming refunds are avaliable. Which I doubht, ha.

thats why we're not doing a group buy on anything you need to mod to make it work. Thats the last thing Tim needs to be doing.

Take me off list. I just ordered my side sidemarkers and pedals from hondaacuraworld.com
I decided that the GB was probably going to take a long time.

My total for the side markers and pedals was around $222.xx, shipped. I was driving when Henry from hondaacuraworld called me back, so I'm not sure of the exact price. He said to expect them in a week or two. I may order the spoiler next week. Hopefully you will be able to help me out with the key.

Great so that means the pedals are $40 cheaper than supercomputers

yeah, let's get sidemarkers now since they are plug-and-play. should we just place order directly with Tim as long as we mention AZ GB?

AcurasGhost, you are talking about Types-S or base tails that need modification to fit 04-06?

Count me in for:
1. Side mirrors,
2. Rear taillights,
3. CD changer that supports mp3, and
4. Keys (if price is right)

I was talking to the parts manager about the Type S tails. But I don't know .. he said it might have to go to a body shop or something for install (as opposed to getting it installed at the dealer) bc the bumper or hardware that connects the tails and bumper together might need some extensive install work. But who knows ... maybe they could almost just slide right in. Someone on here is going to have to be the ginny (prolly wrong spelling, lol!) pig and try the tails out on their own time and money.

Also, I noticed SuperComputers is trying to do the side view mirrors for mid December. The base of the mirrow looks different from the 06 and the 07. I wonder if the base (the part that the mirror actually sits on) has to be replaced and or modified?

i think they guy you spoke to never looked at the parts. i'm looking at the part numbers, and the plastic parts that the bumper conntects to, to connect to the chasis is the same since 2004

I did a comparison with the 07 pedals. They are the same as the Japanese Accord Euro-R, except the Euro-R does have the dead pedal. I ended up found a guy from Malaysia selling just the dead pedal on eBay. So, I'm gonna order the 07 pedals from dealer tomorrow.

After looking at the aftermarkets pedals for the 3g tl the stock pedals from an 07 looks better than the ones I saw on other cars that have the ultimate pedals and supercomputers. Anyone else feel the same way,
