I had a B12 maintenance minder message and completed the work not at a dealership. I tried to reset according to the manual but it doesn't work. Anyone know what I could be missing?

 

Put it on the area where it shows your oil % level. Hold down the reset button for like 20 seconds till it shows a maintenance reset. Press reset again and it should clear (follow whatever it says to do on the screen when it pops up).

i think i may have reset this on accident yesterday. got an oil change from a non-acura dealer (had 30% left), because i had a road trip planned. went to reset the oil notification back to 100% and i may have reset the maintenance reminder as well. i remember it said, 'b1 maintenance due soon.' what items are recommended for the b1 maintenance, and is it possible to reset the oil level w/o resetting the maintenance reminder?
