2006 TL accord fog lights
Hey Guys,
I’ve been researching for a few months about installing fog lights into the lower grills of my 6MT 2006 TL. After reading through every thread I could find I still have a few questions. Where can you find an OEM 2005 Honda Accord fog light kit (lights, harness, switch, etc)? All I can find are aftermarket lights with plastic lenses. Also, does anyone have an updated thread that details every aspect of the install? I’ve found some pretty decent threads, but they are often a few years old and the pictures no longer work. If anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated! 👍🏼

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacture..
if you want the real thing, you'll have to buy the real thing...and Honda NEVER sold "kits"
Source real OEM Honda Accord fog lights from ebay or junk yards.
then, since Honda never sold kits, you will have to come up with a wiring alternative.
thus why it's just easier and cheaper to buy the "kit" for 50 bucks on ebay.

when the Accord came out; it either had fogs or it didnt.
it either had a switch or did not.
no dealership will put in the time to configure a "kit" that consisit of; fogs, wiring harness, and switch. as, they sell parts that already "work" on the Accord. so, the "kits" you are seeing...are some aftermarket company hobbling together parts.
these "kits" you see are all the same. and frankly for $40-50 bucks on ebay...you're stressing way too much over this.
buy the $50 kit and enjoy the fogs.

Why don't you just find all the pieces of the "kit" separately?

That was plan B, but i just found some glass lens aftermarket fogs. Looking for a good thread to follow now for the install. As of now this the best I have found: https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...bumper-717204/ I still am looking for a little more detail into the wiring side of things though! Thanks guys!

as stated; an aftermarket company is sourcing these and putting them together as "kits"
instead of relying on them...you can source your own parts to make a kit.
and it's not anything super hard...
you just look for an OEM fog light...could be from a junkyard.
then buy wires.
then buy a switch

The 03-05 Accord sedan fogs were offered as a OEM kit. Back in around 2011 a seller on ebay sold the kits for insanely cheap, around $40 and a bunch of us bought it.

OEM is glass, but some (very few) third party sellers use glass also.
It's hard to find an OEM kit, I think you can still buy them but expect to pay over $200. That being said, your best option is to go with a third party seller, I bought off k2motors before for TSX fogs and they used glass lens.
Here's the DIY

These look VERY simliar, wonder if they fit: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/as...to-xb-led.html
I bought them when they first came out but I have a Type S so the fogs are different. I ended up installing them on my Mom's 09 Accord Sedan though.
