Alright I got a price quote for a 2006 TL , 6speed, navigation, black leather interior, white exterior

$32,205........

then i asked for the underbody kit and everything OUT THE DOOR price... he gave me

$35,399.00

is that good? should I ask for $34000 out the door?

Price on the TL seems good at $32,205 but the OTD seems high since you are in VA. 3% in Va means about $900 in taxes. Add about $50 in tag fee and you are at $33,200. That puts the body kit at $2k+ dollars. Are you getting more than just the body kit (ie. suspension, wheels, tires). If not, buy the car at the $32,205 price (assuming this includes all dealer fees) and add the kit when you shop around for prices. you can buy the A-spec body kit for $800.

 

I have previously bought new vehicles through the AAA buying program, its an automatic 400-800 over invoice. I got a quote of 33399.00 +TTL. This included their 'destination fee' of 790 or somthing close to that. It was a straight forward deal, no hagling or talking down. It seems like everyone on here is coming in a bit lower than I am. BTW is a 06 NBP 6mt w/nav. What else can I do, the guy basically tried to tell me this is the lowest price I can roll out of there with.

Jlui83 sorry for hijacking your thread. I think you got a good quote. Go for the A-spec kit after market. Watch for a group buy on it.

 

Short answer is negotiate your own deal armed with information you gather from here, Edmunds, etc. Don't go through a service like AAA. You will always pay more than if you negotiate direct.

 

I went to Radley Acura in Falls Church and one sales rep quoted me on a 06' 6spd w/ navi at $35,00 and A-Spec with $42,000 so i think 32 is a good deal.

 

Alright.. seems like if I can't get them down to around $33,500 out the door. I'm not going to get the aspec kit from them.. I'll just order from group buy somewhere... We'll see. I'll keep u all updated..
