has anyone changed their 2006 cabin air filter? i just bought a new purolator c35519 and went to access the filter and it looks like the glove compartment has been reconfigured. i can't figure out how to dismantle the glove door.

 

i just finished replacing the filter. all went well once i figured out how to drop the door to the glove compartment. only busted 3 of the 10 mounting clips on the left side. next time i will do the cut out with my dremel.

... or is the 2006 procedure different from that described in the Garage?

 

i have an 05.. pretty much drop the glove box door, unlatch it from its arm.. a couple of screws than appear, a bunch of clips and viola....... 2 clips on the air filter door and pull out
