After having driven an 2010 TL Tech for tha past 2 weeks, does anyone know if the headrests for the 2010 TL will fit the 2005 TL? I lived how the headrests had a more forward tilt. Any help is appreciated.

you know that your 05 headrests tilt right? its a little secret that not many people know. just adjust the tilt to the angle you like.

 

The 3G headrests tilt but they won't stay tilted, they seem to revert back to a straight position on their own after a few minutes, I guess a spring pulls them back. Is that just my car or every 3G?

 

mine stay right where they are positioned. if you're leaning your head back on it then it pushes back.

 

I have tried before to move them, but they didn't move. I will try again tomorrow. The 2010 were like 1" away from my head, which is what I like. My 2005 are like 6" away.

 

no they definitely tilt, just use a little force. and yea mine stay where they are for the most part. i may have to pull em back up a little after a week or two but its nothing that i notice to be a nuisance or anything.

i like to have my headrest raised up and at a sharp angle cause i like it to be right behind my head, but i leave the passenger headrest reclined and down to contrast. just a little thing that most people probably dont notice but i like to look at lol

 

dragonlord - Try raising the headrest a couple clicks before you tilt it forward.
