I posted earlier about the deal i was looking at for the 2006 TL with 24k miles(dealer said couldnt go below 27K before tax, title.....etc). However i talked to a different dealer who was selling a 2005 TL certified preowned and had the maintenance history and everything of it and that car had 34k miles on it. That dealership wanted 24,900 but he said he would see what he could do to get it down

My question is-
A)would it be a better deal for me to get the 2005 if i could get him to bump it to say 23,500
B)Are there any real differences between the 2005 and 2006 TL

yes! that is a very nice feature........ would that be the only difference?

 

If they are non nav, the radio and HVAC screens will be gray on the 05 and blue on the 06.

When it comes to used cars, condition is everything. I'd rather pay more for a mint 05 with 34K than a rough 06 with 24K.
