2005 TL price?

Hi everyone. I have a question. I own a 2005 TL with the sport lips and navi package. I am trying to sale it for 13k obo but people are giving me ridiculous offer. Is it really that low? The car only has 94k miles on it and I alread done all the 90k service with all new engine mounts and trans mounts. In and out is mint, is it that cheap now a days? What is everyone paying for theirs? Thanks

KBB say from $11,100 to $13,300 for my area here in California. I am at least on the good/very good side that being $12,500. But again I dont trust KBB either there is too much politic around with them and car manufacture. So i thought I ask you guys for oppion instead.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles unfortunately. When I sold my last car I put in like 2K of service and new tires, and I totally did not see that come back on the sale.

I would say the car is worth about $12k-$13k, people trying to low ball so they can find a cheap deal but little they realize if the car service been keep up to date then that little extra price cost is worth it. E.G I bought a 00 Accord V6 back in 2005 with mileage range 100k-120k miles, most listing online goes for $7000-$8900. I found this car listing for $7800 with 109k miles which kinda high compare to the current market, we haggle with the owner for awhile on the price then finally I told the owner that $7500 is my final offer take it or leave it. He then say ok, its a deal. I later found out the car has great service history, his wife must spend thousand of dollars into dealer service deal, every service had done by Honda dealer and everything is perform as dealer recommended. Most of the Accord that years has trany issue but my still run strong after 7 years after. The only time I ever spend for service are new brakes (rotors, pads and caliper rebuilt), wheel bearing, one ignition coil and front&side engine mount. I am pretty happy with what I paid lol.

I just recently bought a 2005 Acura TL with about the same miles, mint everything. The only difference is that mine does not have the navi package. The Acura dealer had it up for $14K and we ended up getting it down to $12K, and were very happy with that deal because most cars around this price weren't near as nice. If I were you, I wouldn't settle for much less than that. Also, just a hint, stress how safe the car is through its safety rankings when you're trying to sell it, that was one of the main things that made my mom help me buy it. (I'm 16).

Low-balling comes when the dealership isn't involved, give them the same deal as the dealership and charge more, remember always hit em with the truth, profit for them[stealership] and the person who sold you the car is subtracted in this offer but same protection. XD

30 days 50/50 warranty, anything outside of an acura lot and out of factory warranty only gets that. It gives them the "rest assure" that you are not selling them shit, and if your lucky they wont even notarize it with you. No going wrong on that one! unless you are trying to take someone for there money.

People are always going to low ball. You'll have to be patient and adamantly sell/hype up the navi and service. Some people won't care about the navi or service, and just want a 10K car. But there's buyers out there actually looking for a good TL. Best thing you can do is have supporting service documentation, and take good pics of the dash showing the navi.

Sometimes it's ok to set a high price, to leave more room for negotiation. Some buyers want to 'feel' like they talked you down and got an awesome deal.

I would wait for a better offer. As per KBB, my 2005 TL with A-Spec body kit/suspension, navi is worth $17,915 to private party buyer. The car is in very good condition and has only 40k on the odo. I already did the 100k service, changed the brakes/rotors, tranny fluid to Redline D4, 3rd/4th gear switches. Do I think I get what KBB list? Nope! But I would not be low balled to let her go which I'm debating on. Good Luck with selling your car.
