2005 TL - No power
Hi all, hopefully I can find some answers here.
Car has been sitting for a few months due to using a work truck to drive. No surprise the battery was dead. Tried jumping it with no success. Charged battery and still nothing. Took the battery to Autozone to check if I need a replacement. Battery checked out fine, just needed topped off. Recharged it fully and still won't start.....don't even have any interior lights come on after hooking battery back up. Thought it might be loose and/or dirty battery terminal clamps so cleaned and re-tightened those down on the terminals and I still have no power to interior lights.
On a side note I did get some sparks come off either the alternator or the engine block when some tools slipped so I know there's juice when the battery is installed.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

You saw sparks around the engine block/alternator when your tools made contact? That is not a good sign.
Considering you haven't driven in a while, check around the engine bay and under the vehicle for any animal droppings. Its possible they have chewed through the wiring causing a short.
Perform some connectivity tests between the main positive connectors in the engine bay fuse box and to ground. Countinue doing countinuity tests from there.
