I'm just curious if anyone who has an 05 has experienced any rattles yet.

I was really hoping this would be addressed in the 05 model but can't seem to find any confirmation of it.

Good luck finding ANY vehicle with thousands of moving parts that is rattle free. Even $100K MBs will have some rattles sooner or later. The first year of a model renovation will have more but that improves through the year as production changes are made. Don't let the potential for rattles keep you from buying the TL.

Wondering if I've hit rock bottom yet--

$31,400 + tax and tags for 2005 MT non-nav with body side molding.

Are there better deals to be had? Has anyone done any better yet?

md mdx - That is a good deal. I'm in the Maryland burbs, and was wondering whether you would be willing to share the name of the dealership that quoted you that figure.

Thanks - oidvoid

Got a quote of $34,200 for a 2005 5AT w/navi and decklid spoiler +tax/license. What do you think? Should I jump on it?

I live in Texas. The first dealer that gives me that price gets my business.

Price in MA

I just negotiated $33,600 for a WDP 5A w/Nav, with a lower rear spoiler and additional winter mats for interior and trunk.

Price in North Florida

I was able to negotiate $33,000 for an '05 6MT Navi ABP/Camel with rear wing spoiler, splash guards, and wheel locks. Admittedly, I couldn't get that price in Orlando and will have to drive 2-1/2 hours each way to Jacksonville. But for that price, it's worth the road trip!

And to Courtesy Acura in Sanford, FL who wouldn't give me a price over the phone and made me drive up there only to offer me STICKER price on an '04 ...

This is my first post after having lurked here for a month and I just have to thank all of you for helping me see what kind of prices were available out there. This is a great forum.

Your Recommended Dealer?

I live in the Scottsdale, AZ area. I want to purchase an "05 TL, Anthrcite/Quartz interior w/ Nav. What dealer/salesman did you use? Is there an 800 number I can use to purchase? I want to have it transported here - Cost?

Thank you,

Stuart

I believe Auto-ON means lights turn on automatically when you unlock the doors, or open the door after they've been shut off automatically by timer after you lock the doors.

I must recommend Eddie Medcalf from ORR Automotive Group in Shreveport. I have been dealing with him for a couple weeks trying to get a good price on a NBP/Quartz/Navi/6MT. Not only was he incredibly nice and accomodating, he gave me a great deal and worked magic on location this hard to find car for me. I have NEVER had a positive experience with car sales people until Eddie.

I recommend to anyone in the Southeast, or anyone who is willing to travel to North Louisiana (hey I was willing to travel 5 hours to get a good deal when there were 4 other dealers closer), to give Eddie a call at 318-797-0090.

The Acura website still lists both the desert mist metallic and the redondo red metallic as color choices for 05 TL's. Also, some colors don't have ebony as interior color option.

I was replying to a message about the Acura TL in Canada, not USA...

wheel locks, trunk tray and all weather floor mats as part of the deal. Should have it by the end

I got $34500 for 05 MT with Navi, underbody kit all around, wing spoiler and wheel locks. Which is I beleive $3753 under MSRP. I'm not sure what MSRP is for the installation but these are the numbers dealer put in my contract. They also threw in mats and free inspection. Acura of Boston. Sweet

I went the the dealer last night....the 05 TL still DOES NOT have felt on the inner window wiper.

Any 05 TL owner that wants to tint their windows still needs to do the moleskin DIY to prevent scratches!!!!

I am reading all these fantastic prices you guys got on the 05 TL, but I think a more accurate picture of what you paid would be to include any trade ins, cash down, whether you financed or leased or paid cash, the type of TL you purchased and any other info that you used to get the dealer to knock down the price on the TL.

I have the feeling that the people who got free stuff thrown in with their TL purchase probably did a lease or put some kind of large down payment. I COULD BE WRONG, so please be gentle with the flaming.

I want to get a TL, but given that the 05's just came in and the 04's are hard to find, what price can I hope to grind the dealer down to before they kick me out the door?

Best NY Price/Dealer?

Hey folks,
I've been lurking here for about a month while i tried to figure out whether to buy the G35 or TL to replace my totaled 03 Passat GLX. Yes, i'm moving on up. and yes, i am making the right choice.

What's the best prices folks have gotten for a auto navi in the NYC area? I have an initial quote of 33,299 so far. I have read through this and other threads, as much as i could find, but i just wanted to put the question out there directly. I'm also planning to add the all season matts, wood auto shift know, back lip spoiler, side molding, wheel locks and splash guards (about $1100-1500)..and i do want the auto start as well.

Also, if there is another thread about exactly this, let me know that too if you are so inclined.

thanks folks, and i look forward to joining the TL owners club in the next week or so.

later!

Try my guy, Anthony Meed at Curry Acura up in Scarsdale, 1-866-491-1024, ext 104. Tell him you were referred by the forum.

If you do a search here, you'll find the dealers in the NYC area NOT to do business with like Acura of Brooklyn and Paragon.
