The interior is supposedly going to be shown at the NY auto show in March. There will be no AWD coupe in the next year or two (if ever). An interesting tidbit is that the execs at Nissan wanted a horsepower bump for the G35 coupe. The new M35 (FUGA concept) will have the horsepower increase and they wanted to port it over to the coupe. Don't know if they were successful but they if they were, it will be shown in the auto show. The internal target was 300hp.

Not only that, but the AWD right now is only available with the automatic. Supposedly, the AWD coupe will arrive in the form of the GTR. Though, it would be an 07' model, or so I hear.

As for the 300hp, there is supposedly already an Infiniti-R chip in the works for the car, which bumps power to 310hp. Supposedly, this is the chip from the original "pre-production" car or something like that. Gets rid of the "premature" cut-off in the engine near redline, like in the TL. Except it also has a more aggressive fuel map too. (as if my fuel economy wasn't crappy enough )

Other ECM upgrades currently exist, but this Infiniti-R one is interesting, in that it's supposed to maintain the engine warranty. We'll see...

I heard about the chip but we'll see if it materializes. Technosquare's ECU flash also does the trick and will give you good gains with other mods. People have unlocked a fair amount of horsepower with just bolt-ons and the ecu flash.

There is already many supercharged G35s putting down 350 rwhp that are tearing up unsuspecting challengers Also, there is a twin turbo kit now available for the G (someone is already running with it). Its turning out that the VQ is pretty good for FI. Lets see if the other components are built to last...
