2005 Altima SE-R
I drive a 99TL with h/p/i.. so its still not as fast as an SE-R. its pretty obvious that was i going to lose, but he was neck to neck with me at a traffic light and he was revvinng. it sounded alot less quieter than my Z (that i wished i was driving), but wasnt that bad. i decided to give it a go. i just left the AC running (hot day), the TCS on, and decided to just go on D4 auto. lights green, hit the gas, and i hear a REALLY loud grinding noise then a loud thump, i was slammed the brakes to look over to see wat happened, i looked back and i see his car jerking back and forth, then the engine shuts off.
THE KIDDDD in his brand new SE-R didnt know how to drive stick properly and thought he can have a go against me! what an asssss. he tried to look all slick and cool until he pulled that off.. i wonder how embarrasing that must be, especially with a girl sitting next to him. i just drove off before he tried provoking me for a rematch..

Even with Comptech I/H/E, smart money's on the SE-R (provided the SE-R gets traction).

i was in my buddy's 300ZX twin turbo one night and we lined up for a race with 2 other cars. he stalled out bad at the light. once he got the car re-started he floored it. we still passed everyone.
heh heh. i guess it helps when you're making 400hp at the wheels
SSTS
ps - on a side note i am a little disappointed that all these other cars are beginning to match our horsepower. it's gonna be harder and harder to school punkasses who think their civic si is a indy pace car.

my "kill" list is comprised of cars that should have beaten me-some have 75 or more hp. than me but hey, when you hit the trees and its party time anything can happen:
02 camaro "ss" with exhaust AND wide rubber(car sounded mean)
99 trans am-big borla exhaust and guy wore a helmet-lol
04 wrx-modded 4wd with bigger turbo and blowoff valve screamin'
01 mustang gt-big exhaust and "racing stripes" +raised hood?
05 mustang GT-manual-bone stock with temp tag-my most gratifying win
99 mitsubishi 3000gt-modded
01 pontiac GTP-supercharged, short pulleys, exhaust+ engine mods(fast car)
All of the above are the proud owners of the dreaded yellow slip....
courtesy of my 4 door luxury car
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA AAAA
sorry guys

sorry to say but I did-I have many witnesses and the time slip to prove it.
I should have lost, but obviously he over revved and spun too much at launch. My car runs very low 9's which doesn't leave much room for error...even for a SS(I'm in the car business-i know it was a real one)

Well the Camaro cut a bad lite because my old 98 SS 6MT went 13.4@105mph stock. With headers, drag radials, catback and airbox I went 12.99@110mph.
My 98 Formula went 10.3@136 (105 1/8th) last year.
I think my stock 6MT TL feels like 14.2@100mph, hopefully the Injen CAI will get me into a 13.99 at the track in the near future.

imean alotta these teens driving all these ponycars/powerful V6's, V8's and even turbo I-4's (evos and sti's.), its getting annoying especially when they cant even drive it properly. seriouslly.. parents need to buy them a practice car or something first. then maybe later, let them afford their own cars, if they want a supercar..

NO the 1/8 mile. If i was doing that in the quarter you would see me on NOPI TV racing.
Unfortunately I can't see ANY TL getting below 13 sec's in the quarter without using some combo of SC AND nitrous which would put way too much stress on the tranny. As far as I know there is no race clutch available for our cars(3rd GEN)...

......the one I drove chirped into 2nd gear WITH the TCS on AND it was a 5AT. The torque put down by the SE-R's VQ35DE seems to completely overpower the stock S-03s.
