2005 Acura TL

My 2005 Acura TL 3.2 Base automatic transmission blew yesterday, mileage at 120,XXX.
My only option is to purchase a used transmission or get it rebuilt, not sure which to do. Also interested in converting it to manual transmission, would it be costly? .. Any suggestions or tips on what to do?
[if I can go manual I'm allllllll for it]

Depends on your definition of costly. Is 3-5k costly to you to convert to MT?

Rebuilt AT tranny/ reman will be about 1500-3000k.

Don't do a manual swap, get a manual car later on.
Also, look at your financial situation, can you afford a new car? If so, get a new car, if not, replace the tranny.
Also, how much do you like your TL will also play a role, as you may choose to keep it even if you have the capital to buy another car
