2004 WDP- Reasonable deal or no?

Hey Everyone,

I've been in the market for a 3rd gen TL. I have been all over autotrader and yahoo autos and found a 2004 WDP for 17995. BUT this car is a 1 owner, mint cond with 30k miles on it. I posted over on h-t and a few guys said this is too pricey, but atfer all this searching it doesnt seem like a bad deal considering i could get into a 05 but the mileage would be more around 50-60k. 1 year older, with 20k less miles seems like its worth it to me. The price seems to be right at what nada calls "clean retail". And they offered me decent trade in on my current vehical.

Please give me some input, Thanks!

Too high! The car doesn't have nav and that is the difference between an 18k car and a 15k car. The car is going on 6 years old and it looks great but in the end, it is a 6 year old car without nav. With nav, the price could work but without it, no good. There are so many non-nav TL's out for sale for a lot less than this one. Try to find one with a nav system. Once you have a car with this nav system and find all the things you can do to it like install a backup camera, video, ipod, stereo controls, voice command, etc....

I'm not crazy about having the navi, I have that in my current car and and have used it maybe once lol. There are newer models (05 mostly) but they all have 20k more miles on them wich isnt a big deal but i do want to stay at about 50k miles MAX on my next car purchase. Im located in central iowa, and willing to travel a ways for a good deal.

What would you say is a fair price for the one i have posted?

if your looking for a good deal only search for private sellers, dealers want retail prices....

i say mileage is pretty good with that sticker price. i would talk to dealer to lower 1k if possible. nav would be a better option and if u are willing to travel for a tl...try looking for a manual

so overpriced. You can do better. At first I thought I didn't have a need for a navi, so glad I got it now.

Not only it is that WDP TL way overpriced....but IT HAS NO NAV!! If you are going to buy preowned 04-06 TL try to get one with Nav, you will not regret it. GL
