Hey, I pass through Austin street pretty often, too. Sometimes I do the grocery shopping in Nature, my car will be in the front.
In Nov, I was even pulled over by a guy driving MDX, in front of B&N bookstore, he rolled down the window asking me how's about the car... Two cars were stopping in the middle of traffic for 15 seconds in rush hours... tons of horns around us...

Acura was fairly new back then (introduced in 1986). They didn't even have a logo back then. Absolutely no badging in the front. I remember first Acura logo appeared on 1991 Integra. You can see my '87 beauty in my photo gallery

You seemed to get the good price from Paragon. However, I had the bad experiences over there. They tried to sell me MSRP + 2k adjustment fee in Oct.. Without 1k deposit, I wouldn't be able to test-drive the car... Sorry to say this to your dealer... I then purchased my car in Rallye, Sale deaperment is pretty good and honest, but their services dept. is not as decent as other ppl have talked about. So, when I call "stupid dealer", you will know who I'm talking about.

The original salesperson wasn't there when I went in, so I dealt with another one. He seemed surprised at my price quote. Maybe the person who e-mailed it gave me the wrong price, but I had the e-mail printed out so they had to honor it :p
Who do you use for service? I heard Valley Stream is pretty good, have you ever dealt with them? Paragon told me if I needed anything done that took more than 2 hours I would get a loaner car. I'll try their service dept. when I need something done because they're close to where I live (and moving even closer to a new showroom this spring). I can drop the car off when I go to work and catch the train into the city, then pick my car up on the way home. Valley Stream I can only get to on the weekends.
narnia,
I think they tried to push us paying more in the first month of sale. Well, they may have done the further adjustment of how to treat customers later. I believe you did the right way by using Internet price quote to negotiate with them. You said "5AT w/Nav in Anthracite/Ebony for $33,075", this is the best price I heard in NYC area. Unbelievable.
Anyway, Valley Stream is really far. You're right with Paragon's new location, why not give them a try first?
You can PM me. I don't want to screw up this thread.

I live north of LA in a town of 200,000+ and I've only seen one other (silver) so far. Also, during my trip to Reno on I-5, I strained to look out for another TL, but no luck. Rare breed, they are.

This is an old sighting, but I saw two almost side by side (silver and white) on the freeway back in October. I don't exactly remember what date it was, but I know it was a day after TL's officially went on sale. They were heading I-405 in Torrance, CA. Yeah, this is where Honda/Acura headquarter is.
This was before I got mine. I remember thinking, "My God, they're going to be all over the road." It's more rare than I thought it was going to be, but I bet in a year, we'll see plenty of them on the read. Acura just have make more and faster

Oops. I misinterpreted the event you wanna sell 2 6MT.

BTW, there is one Silver 04TL following me at least 10 mintues in I-495 from Bayside to Manhasset... do you like my bright LED brakes? Please let me drive behind you next time, I really hate your HIDs...
Since they've become available, I've only seen about six in the Houston area. The first was probably in November, then the very day I placed my order I saw one on the way home and have seen a few on the road since then - the last time was last Tuesday, 1/20.
I've seen more TLs on vehicle transport trucks than anywhere else. Tuesday morning I saw a truckload of SSM TLs heading west on I-10 towards the Austin & San Antonio areas.

I've been driving between Raleigh, NC and Washington DC area every week since early December. Nothing on I-85/I-95 in Virginia. I have seen one silver TL on I-270 northbound and a white TL southbound, both near Rockville. I also saw a NBP TL/Parchment this week in Gaithersburg.

Since I bought mine back in October I've only seen another TL on the streets twice. Once was silver (like mine) and one was anthracite. This, in Tulsa, OK.
But then, I really don't drive all that much. I work at home so I don't have a commute and there are days where I don't drive at all. When I drove to Tennessee during Thanksgiving I didn't see any on the whole trip. They still seem pretty rare in this part of the world.

That's not the best part of the story, my office is at the GM techcenter.
.
I live in Charlotte, but haven't seen any 04 TLs "in the wild" around here. I did see a nice black one at a Hilton Garden Inn in Roseville, CA a few weeks ago.
I have an NBP/QTZ/AT/NAV on order, so hopefully people will be seeing my car fairly soon.

I'm starting to see a few more in the Dallas area - especially in the Irving area. I've seen a few scoot around the O'Connor/114 intersection lately. One was an abyss blue that was pulling out of some company parking lot as I went by. I saw a black one and said "oh, so that's what mine looks like when it's rolling".
I've been looking for 4 months and only began to see TLs just couple weeks ago. I saw 1 SSM on I-880 SB in Fremont, another SSM on Lawrence and a black one parked at Fry'. I haven't seen any Anthracite yet (the color of my TL on order).
Last Friday I saw 5 besides the one I was driving. Here they are in order of appearance.
1. ABP
2. NBP
3. WDP
4. NBP
5. SSM
Mine is RRP. Columbus is only a few miles from the Marysville plant, where the TL is manufactured. I save a DMM TL last summer before the car was released.

Hello TLSS: Probably the NBP TL you saw at Fry's parking lot was mine. Yes, the car looks nice but I still drive like a nerd.......because I'm still breaking in the car and learning how to use 6MT correctly. Anyway, I love this baby!

Ever since I started viewing this forum, which was about two months ago, I have not seen any TLs other than at the dealership. So I think I am the only one representing Savannah, GA with a 2004 TL 5AT Anthracite/Ebony.

I personally saw one in the Downton in November, and know many of ppl here having 04TL in Nashville or purchasing it from Gary Force Acura.
You should see them sometimes...
Terrible sighting in NYC...
Since I almost see 04TL everyday in this big city, I begin to look at the difference of each 04TL I've encountered on streets.
I saw one having the famous/traditional marks/damages of NYC today, that Anthracite 04TL already has dozens of dents or scratches on its rear bumper.
That's the sign of NYC frequently-street-parking vehicles.
