Thumbs up 2004 TL Review

Check this out, I know it's just one person's opinion, but he probably writes the most solid auto reviews i've read just about anywhere (without bias that is).

I dunno. The guy's review reads a little bi-polar to me. Couldn't really tell if he liked the car or not.

His analysis of the interior, for example, was a prime example. One minute he's lauding it as one of the best interiors in its class, the next he's saying it falls short of the new BMW 5-Series. Well, I've sat in the new 5-Series interior, and it's a POS. Cheap, plasticky, and with a dash reminiscent of a 1968 Mercury Montego.

I haven't sat in either but he doesnt say the interior is best in it's class, although he does say that for the exterior of the car. He states the interior is considerably better than the previous TL.
The interior of the new 5, at least in the photos, doesn't look much different from the previous 5.

Personally, I have always been a bit underwhlemd by BMW's interiors. They just don't do it for me. But man do those things drive nice!
