2004 TL Low Fuel Warning - Any problems

This is my question. I have a 2004 TL. I was wondering what your computer says for miles to empty when your fuel warning light comes on. Also, when you fill up the car how many gallons have you been able to enter. I have filled up three times now once the warning light has come on and each time never put in more than 14 gallons. The car has a 17 gallon tank. The last time I let the miles to empty get to 23 and I still only put in 13.60 gallons. Can you please let me know what you are seeing with yours? Thanks.

My understanding is that this is standard with the TL. The extra 3 gallons is a safety measure paternalisticly (sp?) done for our benefit. I have asked and been told that the fuel indicator and low warning lights cannot be recalibrated to a correct reading.
