2004 recalls?

I have an appointment for Friday to get the wiper motor and power steering hose recalls done to my '04. Any other recalls out there for '04's while they have it? Anything else that I should have them check for? Nothing else seems to be an issue that I've noticed. Those are the only 2 recalls that show up in my Acura Owner Link.

as long as its not Salvage Title- recalls cover the car- doesnt matter how many owners or where it was purchased
Call acura at 1-800-382-2238 x5 thats acura care and they can look everything up on your car- need you VIN to do it
The dealer normally does this check of the computer too- work is work and recalls are mandatory repair

There were also TSBs on the rear suspension (for excess rear tire wear when fully loaded) and HFL (if bluetooth is not working well) that you might want the dealership to check.

TSB is not a recall, and only gets addressed if customer comes in with a complaint specific to the TSB, Technical Service Bullitin
otherwise its not even looked at.

I don't see a sticky regarding the recall. When ought we expect to receive the notice? I've known about it, but have not received anything yet. I figured I'd get it done next time I'm due for service, which ought to be within a month or so.

Call Acura and register your car with them and also sign up on Acura's Owner Link website. Provide your VIN # and all will be well.

Ok, I took my car to the dealer this morning (an hour and 15 min drive for me). I had made the appointment through the owner's link page and noted in the comments section the 2 recalls that I wanted performed. I received an email confirmation of the appointment a day or 2 later. I get there this morning and they tell me that they can't do either of the recalls because they don't have the parts yet. I was not real happy and told them that they shouldn't have confirmed the appt then. The service rep tells me that an outside company reads those emails and confirms appts for Acura and they never even see them. I tell him that is not satisfactory as I have driven an hour and 15 mins to bring the car to them.

He leaves and then comes back to say that he has 1 wiper kit left in stock and can do that one today but not the hose. They did the wiper recall, but not the other one. So, I'll have to end up taking it back to them for that in about a month.

I will add that both the service writers that helped me today were very nice. Just a frustrating experience.
