Does anybody know the spec or part number for a replacement
battery for a 2004 Acura TL? Any recommendations for the Honda
battery or other brand? The main engine battery of course.

 

Mine died recently with only 18k miles on it. I could have gotten it covered under warranty but they are only going to give you another POS Delphi original equipment battery.

I went with an Interstate battery as we sell them where I work and they are always very high quality.

The original batteries are known to be low quality(do a search). They are a group 24R but you can also use a 24F series like I did and it's the same specs and size.

 

Optima Red top or Yellow Top would be ideal. Do some searching
