Hey, I just got this message from Microsoft cashback live to send back the info, and reply to the email they sent. The problem is the email address is "do-not-reply@microsoft.com."

Is that crazy, are they messing with me?

Yes I received a similar message asking for unique transaction #'s and different things such as that. And to reply but did not mention who to reply back to and that was the same do-not-reply@microsoft.com email address. I just emailed it back to cashbk@microsoft.com

The current july 10% code is CJULYFUN0810P but will only work for people who received the email from paypal, not everyone.

You can check to see if you are eligible by doing the following:

1. NOT clicking through a live search, but accessing Ebay directly
2. Clicking on a buy-it-now, immediate payment item
3. Keep going until you sign into Paypal,
4. Apply coupon.
5. If you are not eligible you will get a message, if you are it will take the discount off.

But whatever you do, do NOT click on the Pay button in Paypal! Using this method, you do not commit to buy an item until you click on Pay!

The current cashback amount is 25% by the way

This is NOT TRUE!! You commit to buying on your second click after you hit BUY IT NOW!! The second click says "Commit to buy, clicking enters into a contract...". When you go into Paypal, you are selecting your payment method...

that's right, you do confirm on the second click...those instructions previously posted are incorrect..

Like his instructions state, you must be looking at an item that has "Immediate Payment Required". In that case, he is right and you have not committed to buying anything until you hit "Pay". Not all Buy It Now auctions require immediate payment, so look for one that says so and you can test the coupon.

I've probably sent about 35 emails to Microsoft about credit not showing up from ebay motors purchases. Each email tells me the same thing, that they're investigating and understand that this is a problem for many people and that they will email me when they're done.

I do believe we'll see the cashback credit in our accounts, just not anytime soon.

As stated in my instructions you need to find an auction that has "Buy it Now" with "Immediate Payment Required".

The first click is "Continue" the second click is "Continue to Paypal" Once you are logged into paypal you can enter the coupon to test it.

You are not commiting to anything until you click "Pay" once logged into paypal.

I never received an email from Paypal so unfortunately the 10% code does not work for me

Well no one can make that decision but you. Like many have said before, since you get a record (email) stating that you have earned cashback, MS can't really screw you over (well, they can but that will be a PITA for them).

Many have used it already on eBay Motors, so if you get f'd, you won't be alone! Plus, you drive a TSX... not getting back a couple hundred won't KILL you. It will suck though

If you wre planning on getting the kit anyway, you should definitely do it, even with the 10% off thats a good deal to me...and if you really od get the 20% it would be super hawt!!!!

I bought something on Ebay and my 20% cashback showed up in 2 days, it wasn't car stuff but it did work for me. I may pick up a peripheral PXAMG for our car as well.

im leaning towards doing it, i wasnt really ready to do it yet with school and car payments but i think it def goin to be worth it...and the more i research it i can see that it has to be legit if they have a whole big affiliation with ebay and all.

Alright guys.

It's been 33 days since i bought my Koni yellow shocks using the promo and still no credit showing up in my account. My emails to MS are replied with "we're working on it" and no more info.

I know some others were in the same boat, is it still like this for you guys?

It's funny because I made a bunch of other purchases that weren't ebay motors and those showed up in less than two days, some within the hour.

But then I have three ebay motors purchases: the shocks, sway bar, and an aem intake, and no credit for all three has shown up. I don't get why ebay motors purchases are so difficult for them...

Ohh no I know I know. I used a bunch of different ebay and paypal accounts. I'm not that stupid. And it's not like credit didn't show up for a specific ebay account, each account I used had one ebay motors and one normal purchase, and for each account ONLY the non-ebay motors purchase showed up.
