I too have made some purchases 2 to be exact totalling roughly $360 in cashback. I have yet to see anything either in the form of acknowledgement other than a couple emails saying I have earned cashback.

Yea yea...I found them through livesearch, got the live search message during checkout, and received the message stating that I earned cashback. I claimed my cashback, but no confirmation of it in my live account.

At least I know I'm not the only one.

I don't believe there is any catch to this. Microsoft has lauched a new search engine to compete with google and yahoo and they are trying to lure web surfers to their site. Offering a little cash incentive to visit their site will definitely get visitors.

To those people who have made purchases and not seeing their cashback yet...
I have around $150 in cashback in my account from ebay purchases so far. Are you guys creating a live.com account? You need to have a live.com cashback account created and linked to the same email address as your ebay AND paypal.

If have all of these and still don't see it, you should contact ebay and provide the item #. Also you needed to see the cashback icons when you made final payment. The cashback icon and amount being offered had to be on your final payment page.

If you are eligible, yes. To see if you are eligible, go to the eBay inbox. If there is a message there from eBay saying that you can use the 10% off coupon, you are eligible. If not, then I guess not.

I have brought 2 items and it has show up at my live account.

If it didn't show up then where maybe procedure was not done correctly.

1. go to live.com and search for the item
2. click on link says cetrain % back
3. once click the link, it will take you to the search result, then select the item you want then buy.
4 then just follow the step by step where it will show you how much you get back during each steps.

very simple.

Then you will get inbox message from ebay saying you get cash back.

I did all that. I have a live account but has yet to show up after 7 days. I have emailed them yesterday and no response yet. It showed that I received $193 cash back, but it is not in my account.

Same thing happened to me... on my final order page there was a confirmation that i will get $250 back, but there is nothing in my live cash back account... i emailed Microsoft customer support and they said there in no info of $$ back.. they are still "investigating"....
