First, let me just let anyone unlucky enough to drive on Mission Gorge Blvd in San Diego/Santee to avoid it at all costs!!! They are ripping the road to pieces for a new shopping complex and the road has drops of several inches in places and several inch thick metal plates in others. I might be a bit melodramatic, but even crawling and cranking the wheel, I managed to scrape my front and pancake the frame/exhaust last night with a sickening thud. All of this with only Progress springs, I shudder to think of those slammed lower.

Secondly, as a traveling consultant am constantly in rental cars. Over the last 2 months, I have had: 2 Hyundai Sante Fe's, a Chrysler 300, a Ford Mustang, some generic lump that doesn't warrent remembering, and the most offensive vehicle I have ever had the displeasure of driving, the Ford Excursion EL. I am assigned to have an intermediate class vehicle, so god only knows who considers that as intermediate...although I'm assuming it't the same people who think that dynamite is a great fishing tool. Anyways, I'm saying this because after being in those cars all week it makes me love my TL that much more. I adore the refinement, the power, the class, the looks, etc.....Greatest debt generator I have ever had the pleasure of owning and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

Sorry for the rant, but after a pot of coffee it can't be helped. Finally, a note to everyone: Vote, I'm not going to tell you for whom to vote, but just get educated and vote. It's your duty as a citizen and a way of showing respect to those who sacrificed everything.
