2 quick questions about the TL

First, my bumper just got repainted, on one side it's perfectly aligned with the quarter panel, on the other side it is not. I really don't want to leave the car again at the dealer for a repair because I live 1 hour away. Do you guys think they can fix this while I wait? What I am talking about is a common problem on the TL's, mine was like this before the repaint on both sides. It's not a big deal, I would just like to maybe take care of it during an oil change.

Second, any suggestions on leather care/cleaner for taupe leather interior? Someone told me to Scotch guard, the Advisor told me NOT to do this. What kind of products are good? I love the color, but it shows blemishes and looks dirty very easily.

Thanks!

I can't help on the bumper, but I would recommend Lexol for cleaning and conditioning the leather (you'd need to buy the cleaner and the conditioner, they come in separate bottles).

303 protectant works pretty well on the interior.

There's an adjustable bracket under the bumper cover that's pretty easy to adjust. When I installed my bodykit, I also had an unsightly gap on the driver's side. I just adjusted the plastic bracket underneath it and reinstalled the bumper, and voila, the gap's gone.

It should be a very easy and quick fix by your dealer.

I second Lexol - both the cleaner and conditioner. You only need to do it once every 2 months or so depending on where you live (how much heat and direct sun your interior gets). And man, the leather is nice and soft once the conditioner is applied.
