1. can the 2007 type s stereing wheel be retro-fitted for the 2004-2006 TL's?

2. I had an offer to trade in my 2005 TL auto/nav 35,000k miles for a 2004 BMW 530i 32kmiles 6-speed/no-nav +$5000. opinions?

I have no idea about the steering wheel but I'd say stick with the TL, especially with all the mods you have done and the fact that the TL has more power over the 5. The only thing I like about that particular 530i is the 6-speed, thats all. It doesn't even have navigation. On top of that it's older

yes, the steering wheel can be, but it would require the replacement of the airbag, wheel and maybe some harnessesses. AND NO, take keep the TL over a bimmer, the current TL you have is much more refined that the base 5 series you will be getting.
