2 month back order for a spoiler?
I placed an order at my dealership for a deck wing spoiler for my Antracite TL but they stated that since it is such a popular color, there is a 2 month back order for them. Is anyone else having this same issue?
And has anyone tried getting a replica wing from like ebay? Are they the same quality as the OEM spoiler?
Has anyone considered any other spoilers for the car besides the OEM?

I just placed my order today for an anthracite TL from the same E-bay guy another member ordered his from. The member posted some pics in an earlier thread and it looked great (his was red)! Checked vendors E-bay feedbacks, and there all positive. He's out of NY, said he installs them all the time for the local Acura dealer in his area, who then turns around and charges alot more for them. Only difference, there is no Logo underneath. I asked about the additional weight on the trunk lid and he said that its not a problem. He thought the spring could be adjusted to another hole if you wanted to make it lighter. I called his number (877-230-1192, Ron) and ordered it direct rather then waiting for the auction to end (in 6 days). Total out the door cost including Shipping and Insurance is $188.63. Said it would ship in 2-3 days.
Good luck!

the lower front and rear spoilers look ok... but personally I prefer the TL without the rear spoiler on the trunk, deck lip or wing. My previous car ('00 Toyota Celica GTS) had one. It looked good, as the car looked awkward without it. But it tends to collect dirt more then anything else.

Here is the original discussion where I found out about this guy... look at the end of this thread for pictures of how mine came in... very well packed!!

Spoiler actually came in from Canada... thought it was New York at first too... Came very quickly, and the transaction was smooth. Watch the bolt size... I think I had to get different ones due to thread difference... no biggie. Ron's paint was great on mine. Mirror finish.
Mine still opens with a pop when instructed, but doesn't automatically spring up like it did... I'd rather have it this way anyhow... never looked into doing anything with my springs. I really don't want to. Found the trunk more cumbersome when it was so light before anyhow... difficult to close when it is light as a feather!
