2.5 tl vs. 03 celica gts
This morning on my way to work I was driving normal 55mph at 5 a.m. And this focker decides to tailgate the fock out of me. I was getting pissed, so he was behind me and there was another car besides me so I blocked him off going extra slow 40mph. So then I speed up just so he can get beside me and as soon as he got next to me we both guned it. So from 60mph it took of and I beat him by 4 car lenths I got to 125mph and the most embarrasing thing is that he was with his girl, he was probably showing off to her. Oh yeah when I smoked him I cut him off and then I turned my hazards on, to let him know the power of the tl.

One of girl I dated was looking at brand new celica.
I sat in one at toyota dealaership. Holy crap. I am not that huge guy (6ft,160pound) and I couldn't sit there any longer. As far as speed of that thing goes, I've beaten few GTS and TRD wannabe.

My friend is a mechanic at honda and he was showing me this timing light that was so small and then he told me that he could advance my timing a little bit and I will get more mid range power. I noticed a bit of a difference. But what he did he loosen the bolt that goes in the distributor and then he put the timing light and he made turn the car on. Then im not sure because I was inside the car, but I guess thats it. But he told me you got to know what you are doing other wise you can start detonating.

2.5 TL is underrated, is closer to 190 hp in reality.
It weighs 3300 to 3350 pounds.
Celica GTS has 180 hp, far less torque.
But it also weighs 2500 pounds..
Sounds to me like the Celica had a bad driver or wasnt trying too hard.

an 03 celica gt-s stock would beat a 97 2.5TL stock pretty easily. With your mods you still would have lost. Guy wasn't trying or his girlfriend was really fat!
