1st service

question for you 04 TL owners:

I just broke 1k miles and was thinking right away about my 1st service. Do I get an oil change at 3k or do I wait until my maintenance minder?

Also, in some TL ads in magazine, I read in the small lettering, that the 1st three months, the service is free.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Yes, you should wait 'til HAL tells you so!

As for the free maintenance, I believe it is standard for the first two services to be free of charge (it's that way here).

Thanks.

I don't think Acura has beef free out there. Lots of ppl only receive a coupon for the first oil/filter change. But I ever heard someone in CT talking about the life time Oil/Filter free-change, which may be just the promotion from his dealer in that competitive areas.
