Took my first long trip this week, from DC to Boston and back. Only saw 2 other TLs...a Silver in Delaware on the way up and a WDP on the Cross-Bronx Expressway in NYC on the way back yestrday morning. A little under 500 miles each way, I averaged 71 MPH and 31 mpg on one leg, 64 and 29 on the other despite the congestion. The Nav did a great job rerouting me around the closed section of I-95 in Connecticut, and XM radio is perfect for this kind of trip. I was able to listen to my favorite channel (49) for the entire drive, changing channels just long enough to get traffic updates for some of the major cities. For me, the icing on the cake is how comfortable this car is on a long drive, even on my just-starting-to-get-creaky 49 year-old body. I was really pleased with the gas mileage, which has been 22-23 in my daily commuting. All together, I love this car just as much as when I bought it back in December.

Good to know Navi provided the alternative in that I-95 closed section. I'm also glad to see 04TL has such good MPG in cruising although its MPG in NYC is soso.
