Will all 19" wheels clear the Brembo's for the 6MT?? Is there a specific offset I need to look for? While not the best source, the wheel selection on Tirerack for the 6MT is drastically reduced.

Any info greatly appreciated!

Not all. Need wheels that are set-up for big brakes (BBS, Volk, Work, HRE and etc). Also, offset should be around 38mm to 45mm

Damn those HRE wheels are NICE....but at 1800 per wheel the TL is not worthy!!!!

I mean the TL is nice, but not that nice!!

I have checked MOMO, Mille Miglia, etc and all do not appear to fit!

(to be fair MOMO does not make 19" for the model I am looking at)

Are there any other mfgs that you can recommend??

99.9% of anything over 17" will clear the brembos. Most 17" will also clear the brakes.

The reason this was an issue before was because the brembo kit was aftermarket and it didn't clear the stock 16" wheels

I have to disagree. I have been able to find very few 18's that will clear the Brembo's. There have been several posts of people buying 18's and not having them clear the Brembo. Tire rack only shows 7 18" wheels that will fit the 6spd, but about 50 that will fit the automatic.

Have you tested them on the car???? how do you know they clear the brembo's....I hate to be wrong, but you might be right.

I wouldn't trust tire rack selection too much.

I haven't tested any, I just recall seeing posts on this site about people who have. I know we need at least 45mm offset and that even with that, there is the possibility that it won't fit. Even the OEM 17's only clear that caliper by about .25"

It's true, it's very hard to find wheels that fit this car (6MT). Before buying my HRE's, I tried a few other 18's and 19's and they didn't fit. Ofset wasn't the issue, it was the caliper/wheel face clearance. Before buying any wheels for the 6MT, make sure to test fit the car.

My AT brakes barely clear my 19x8.5" +45 Akuza's. I can barely fit my pinky between the face (not O.D.) of the caliper and the inside face of the spokes.

offset and spoke design is more important in clearing brake calipers than just rim diameter sizing. there are two clearances to consider (when going aftermarket BBK's):

1) radius clearance (which most 17" rims will clear)
2) spoke clearance (which most rims won't clear, despite offset changes)

oftentimes, the offset are changed by moving the mounting points of the wheel disk to the rim/cylinder. so giving a rim a more deep-dished look will automatically reduce the offset.

in the 6mt TL, it's not so much the radius clearance, but more of spoke clearance.
